Member: Doulas of North America, June 2000.

January 2001: Doulas of North America (DONA) training course for birth doulas. Certified Birth Doula, February 2005.

Member: Doulas of Monterey County (DOMCO), June 2000. Michele was the Secretary and Webmistress for this local doula organization.

June 2002: The Center for Breastfeeding Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) course.

March 2002-February 2003: Monterey Institute of Touch, 500-hour Massage Therapist program. Graduated as a Certified Massage Therapist, February 2003.

Fall 2005: Medela Certified Bra Fitter Training Course.

February 2008: DONA Recertification
