Community Homebirth

My Philosophy

I believe that pregnancy and birth are normal processes. During our time together, my goal is to help you maintain optimal health while providing safe, respectful, holistic care.

Together, we use evidence-based practice and shared decision making so that you can make the most informed decisions for you and your family. All recommendations will be thoroughly explained and consent will be obtained from you before any care is provided. At any point that you have questions, I am available for you.

If complications arise, I have relationships with providers in the area who are able to provide consultations, recommendations and referrals if medically necessary.

What Care Looks Like

We offer referrals for lab testing, ultrasounds, and genetic tests. While these are not included in the midwifery fee, you can use your insurance to cover some, or all, of these costs if you desire.

Below is a basic list of what is provided throughout your care. More details and information are provided during the initial consultation and intake, as well as throughout our appointments together.
