About My Fees
I believe that equitable, high-quality, respectful care should be available to all. Do not let finances stop you from obtaining the services and support that you need and want. While I have baseline fees for all of my services and classes, I am always willing to discuss options with you if finances are a concern.
With my commitment to providing services to all people in our community, considerations are made for those in Monterey County who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQ+.
Payment Arrangements and Sliding Scales
Payment arrangements are available for all families for all services with the exception of the SneakPeek® blood test.
I offer a sliding scale, based on your income, on a case-by-case basis, for those who desire midwifery care and community birth, but who may not have the means to pay the full fee. Extended payment arrangements may also be available for clients on a case-by-case basis.
Financing Your Birth
If you need additional ways to finance your birth, I have connected with two medical loan companies. You don't need perfect credit and they'll help you find the best options for you.

Other ways to help pay for my services and classes is to request gift cards from friends and family. I now offer Mum's the Word E-Gift cards for those who wish to contribute to your community homebirth, classes and other services.
Payments For Services
I accept the following payments:
Mum's the Word E-Gift Cards, FSA/HSA debit cards, debit/credit cards, Zelle,
cash, and checks.
I also accept medical loan financing from United Medical Credit and MedLoan Finance.
Insurance Billing
I do not bill insurance, however, I have established a relationship with Birth Professional Billing who will help you with Verification of Benefits, Gap Exceptions, and file your claims after baby is born. Their fees are not included in my fees, so those costs will be your responsibility. They will do their best to get you reimbursement for my midwifery services, lactation services, and well-person care services.
